Course Overview

Throughout the history of BS7671 there have been amendments added to most editions. The amendments reflect improvements within the industry and can range from advancements in technology to safer practices.

This first amendment to the 17th edition is designated BS7671:2008(2011) and results from the improvement of equipment that could cause problems due to overvoltage in systems.

Please note:

This module is designed to ensure everyone required to comply with BS7671:2008 is aware of and can comply with the changes and additions introduced by Amendment 1, 2011. A new British Standard incorporating Amendment 1, entitled BS7671:2008(2011), and will be published on 1st July 2011.
